Am currently deciding what to call DC3, who is due in a few months time. Having looked through almost every thread made me think about names that I haven't heard in ages. I mean names that don't get used for new born babies anymore.

Here's some I can think off that I haven't personally heard in a long time.

Lisa
Melissa
Fiona
Barry
Adam
Christopher
Peter
Steven
Tracy
Joy
Judith
Iris
Wilma
Daphne
Susan
Tommy
Barney
Mary
Elizabeth
Joseph
Simon
David
Alan
Gary
Heather

Yay finally someone has my name down on here Grin I know a little girl called Pamela, DD middle name is Patricia and I also know a little boy called Malcolm and a Brian!

DH and I both like retro names it was actually the only thing we could agree on. We didn't want anything too popular either so retro names where there were only one or two at school as oposed to five or more. Some of these are still very popular.Eg, I know three little Elisabeths.

I probably overthought naming dd, but I noticed on all the lists of alternative suggestions when I looked up her name, my name and dh's appear. I like the way our names match like they are considered to be in the same genre. I know that may sound odd though.

Love the idea of little Pamelas and Brians!

I'm a Fiona and I'm eighteen. Never met anyone my age with the same name, but I know of a three year old Fiona.

Iris and Joseph both quite popular round here.

Why did Mark go out of fashion? It's strong and a good name. But you never hear of it any more.
