Help!! Difficult choice of boys names: Sean, Daniel or Balonz?

Dear MNers. Hoping you might all be able to help us out as we’re having real difficulty agreeing a name for DS due soon. For DD, we went 'rare'. Weren’t sure we were quite ready to find some ultra-weird name, but equally there are millions of Kates, Elizabeths and so ons.

For DD though, we’re thinking a much more traditional name, perhaps inspired by close friends/family. What are MNers’ thoughts on either Sean, Daniel or Balonz? Many thanks in advance!

It was fun while it lasted. I love the way the first half of the Other Thread on the Other Site keeps quoting the more straightforward posts and hur hurring at their own cleverness... until even they can no longer ignore the HILARITY herein and all defect to MN.

I like Daniel/dan/Danny. I'm not a fan of Sean (have a slightly wayward nephew called Sean) and have never heard of balonz. Is it a typo?

I told somebody about 'Balonz' and they assured me it's an old Basque name. Any native Basque speakers on here?

Just read this through (great fun!). Am I the only one that thought, after the horror that is Balonz, that data is a nice name for a girl?
