I know a few Eloise's - one is shortened to Ellie but the rest aren't. Beautiful name :)

DD knows an Eloise who is often Lolo (Lola could also work).

I know of a family (acquaintances of friends) with 4 children whose names all start with El- (1 boy 3 girls). I have often wondered whether all of the girls have ended up as Ellie among their friends - must ask my friends if they know.

I know an Eloise that shortens it so much she accidentally booked a flight as Ella and had to pay to change it Grin. Most people think Ella is her full name.

Elodie is a very common and very 80s name in France. Most Elodies are in their early 30s now. Just in case it makes a difference to you.
