Which do you prefer?
If you think both are awful this isn't the thread for you Smile
If you have any ideas along these lines that you think I may like feel free to share.

Thank you

I prefer Pheobe, its more classic and grown-up sounding. Daisy is too 'pretty' for my liking and more a little girl's name than a person's name, if that makes sense.

ShakkaKhan · 10/06/2014 15:33

How about Penelope, with Penny for short? That's nice.

LJHH · 10/06/2014 15:35

I love Daisy thats what our puppy is called Blush
I also think Poppy is a pretty name

CaulkheadUpNorth · 10/06/2014 15:36

Phoebe

tilbatilba · 10/06/2014 15:38

Both beautiful - I'm not much help!

Missteacake · 10/06/2014 15:41

I like flower names although they are quite popular at the moment but if that doesn't bother you def go for one Smile
Other flower names

Rose
Lily
Violet
Poppy
Jasmine
Iris

Not quite what you ask for but I do love the flowers!

Thanks

I prefer Daisy! I don't like the way the name Phoebe looks written down!

Nereida · 10/06/2014 16:23

Daisy. I don't like how Phoebe sounds.

Lagoonablue · 10/06/2014 16:23

Phoebe

arghhhagain · 10/06/2014 16:27

Ahh this freaked me right out! I really wanted Phoebe for our DD but my OH didn't so we chose Daisy!

minipie · 10/06/2014 16:28

Phoebe

Daisy is sweet on a little girl, not so sure about it on a 40 year old woman.

squoosh · 10/06/2014 17:54

Phoebe, it has a bit more gravitas whilst still being pretty.

burgatroyd · 10/06/2014 18:37

Phoebe!!! How about Thisbe?

HelpMeGetOutOfHere · 10/06/2014 18:39

Phoebe. I really like both. Ds2 now 12 would have been daisy and dd1 phoebe was on the short list.

justhayley · 10/06/2014 19:41

Thanks all,
I know what you mean about Phoebe being more suitable as an adult name I agree.
Since TTC iv loved Phoebe but there's a little girl called Daisy at my sons gymboree class and every week I see her I fall more and more in love with the name.
Would use it as a middle name but Phoebe Daisy does really seem to work Sad

Daisy is my guilty pleasure name......it doesn't fit my naming style at all, and I don't normally like cutesy names, but Daisy just makes me happy :)

DramaAlpaca · 10/06/2014 23:39

Phoebe by a long way.

Daisy is too cutesy for my taste.

Glittery7 · 19/06/2014 00:02

110% Phoebe. I hate the sound if Daisy.

EATmum · 19/06/2014 00:12

It's all about association though isn't it? I knew a girl in my primary school (ahem, some years ago) who just had the biggest smile and was always beaming. Her name was Daisy, and though I didn't know her well, my associations with that name are of broad happiness. So it is DD1's middle name.

justhayley · 19/06/2014 02:03

I saw the Daisy at my sons toddler group again this week and loved that her mum had to say her name 100 times. Think I'll be lucky to get it in as a middle name even and will be insanely jealous every time I see and hear this little girls name Confused

I have a one year old Phoebe. People regularly say what a pretty name it is. Her full name is Phoebe Rose- still flowery?
