HenI5 · 07/06/2014 22:48

I have a Henry. Round, red and smiley face Smile

If I fancied it as a baby name though I don't think it would put me off, although come to think of it, I was at school with a Henry and I didn't like him much Confused

Hakluyt · 07/06/2014 22:50

No. And I have a Henry Hoover!

I think it's a fab name. Harry is a great "shortening" too.

No, we have a son called Henry. However, I did once have a 5 year old at the park say "But that's a Hoover!"

Marnierose · 08/06/2014 17:44

Horrid Henry. But I would still use this name :)

No way. It's just a fantastic name!

TheFace · 09/06/2014 20:31

Absolutely not. It's our name of choice for DS due in 4 weeks.

ShadowFall · 10/06/2014 10:15

Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends.

Henry is engine number 3.

lbsjob87 · 10/06/2014 21:49

I think it's a great name - and that is speaking as someone who actually knows of a Henry named after the Hoover! His parents let his older brother (about 3 at the time) pick the name and he went for Henry Hoover. They dropped the second bit, obviously.... And they don't make the connection common knowledge!
But I don't connect the two.

MrsDorcasMuller · 11/06/2014 08:52

No

daphnehoneybutt · 11/06/2014 12:07

No not at all.

halfdoneharris · 11/06/2014 14:29

No - Henry is a fab name. I have a dyson which maybe helps? Change your vacuum cleaner and then call your son what you like!
