One of my reasons behind Araminta was you could shorten it to Minty. I thought that was cute. DH disagreed .

I think most of the names suggested can be shortened. Maybe write down your favourites listed and see what their nn would be?

Lucia (loo CHEE a ) Lucy, Lu,... sounds a wonderful combo to me .

I love Claudia but no shortenings I'm happy with.

Also really like Felicity but not Fliss or Flick.
