Magnus or Rex?

[Onefortheteam]

Your thoughts please or I'll have to flip a coin!

Magnus, definitely.

Rex

You're not expecting much of him in later life then?
Magnus = great
Rex = king

Magnus

Are you expecting an Alsation?

BiscuitMillionaire - if he makes his bed in the morning, that'll be 'magnus' enough for me ;-)

I don't like either but if I had to choose it would be Rex because I think there is less chance of awful nn (mag?)

Magnus. A thousand times Magnus.

Helpys - no I'm not but if I was I'd set it on you ;-)

Love Rex.

No.

Definitely don't want Mag, Mags or Maggie nn. I was hoping it wouldn't be shortened at all and if it was, I'd only want Gus.

Magnus

for a dog?

Magnus

Rex. X a kabillion.

Rex

Oh no! It's too close to call. May have to get a coin after all :-/

Rex
Great name!

rex

I was assuming for a dog too!

Both are AWESOME names - good choice OP!

If you like the thought if the nn Mags, Magpie, Gus etc, go for Magnus. If not, go for Rex.

I know 2 Magnus' & 1 Rex. Both human. Rude folk who ask whether you're "naming a dog" should bore off and get a hobby.

Out of those 2 I would say Magnus. Rex makes me think of a dogs name too. Sorry!

Rex

Magnus, without a shadow of a doubt.
