Looking for maybe a spacey or nature middle name?

I think we are going to go for Theodore (will probably be Theo day to day though) but obviously have to wait to see him first and see if it suits.

We're both interested in having an unusual middle name for him and need some suggestions. We love nature and DP loves space, last night we were looking at pictures of Nebulas and thought how cool it would be to be named after something so beautiful. Is it a bit too weird though?

Surname is very short so have scope for a longer or short middle name. Hit me with some suggestions!

How about Orion, so that when he was older he could look up into the sky and see 'his' constellation?

Or Altair, one of the brightest stars in the sky? Other top bright stars include Arcturus, Sirius, Antares, Castor, Rigel...

I'm loving some of these, thanks! Love the idea of being the brightest star in the sky :) not sure if I could ever take Janus seriously though, my childish mind automatically reads it as Anus...

Think I might explore the mythical side of names as well.

What about something like Felix which means Lucky? Also loving florascotia's ideas and Fox is great.

Have a friend who gave her some the middle name Grey which I also think is pretty cool.

How about a scientist? I love Darwin, Edison and

MadameJosephine · 30/04/2014 18:37

Or an astronomer? Edwin (Hubble) or Tycho (Brahe)?
