Boy's name that can't be ruined by local accent...

I live in Suffolk. Many names I like will be pronounced lazily and annoy me, thus:

Seth - Seff
Theo - Feo
Peter - pee-uh

I'm including my own husband, children and assorted friends and inlaws in this before anyone shouts at me - I'm not a snob, and although I do correct my kids asking for war-uh instead of water, it doesn't bother me too much- I just want to not get annoyed every time my baby's dad, granny or brother or sister gets his name wrong. Any ideas?

Tom
Sam
Ben
Joe

You can't go too wrong with short names.

I do really like all those, thank you. Trouble is, so does everyone else and all have either been used by family/close friends or - worse - kids in my classes (secondary teacher) so are not close to the top of my list... due to proximity or unwelcome taint from bonkers kid at school.

My elder kids have real, ie not made up, names that aren't so frequently used for that very reason - although both their names crop up fairly often on here as suggestions...

I'm not familiar with the accent, so these may be unsuitable, but based on your examples above, it seems like these should work:

Aiden
Olly
Jonah
Eli
Ira
Adam
Ciaran
Mark/Marcus
Rory
Reece
Greg
Joshua/Josh
Daniel

Anything?

Ha ha, I have the same trouble where I live! I'm in NZ so all the vowel sounds change, 'e' is pronounced 'i' for example which makes a lot of names sound completely different (Ben for example becomes Bin!). I'm expecting my 4th and have to get my eldest to pronounce each name we think of to see what it will sound like Grin. I agree with the name James, it is pronounced "normally" here too :)
