Can only think of Darius but that doesn't have the inspirational human rights type theme I'm looking for. I love Aneurin but DH says no as Aneurin Barnard is my big crush!

I like Cassius but it's too similar to Cyrus.

Wasn't it Bevin not Barnard who founded the NHS?

Happyringo · 21/04/2014 20:53

(Sorry realise off topic lol!) :)

drspouse · 21/04/2014 20:55

William after Wilberforce, or Thomas after Barnardo.

BikeRunSki · 21/04/2014 20:56

Happy aneuerin Barnard is a dishy young actor, it was Bevin who founded the NHS.

I was also going to suggest Titus as in Salt.

LionsTeeth · 21/04/2014 21:55

Abraham, as in Lincoln? Bram is a very cute nickname.

celestialsquirrels · 21/04/2014 21:57

Like know brothers called Cyrus and Cameron
Fwiw

Not that I'm suggesting David Cameron is inspirational!!!

Best1sWest · 21/04/2014 22:02

Bevan not Bevin. Aneurin Bevan. Ernest Bevin, also a Labour MP

GreatAuntDinah · 22/04/2014 08:01

Douglas Bader was a massive racist IIRC so perhaps not... i was going to suggest Nelson too.

DogCalledRudis · 22/04/2014 11:01

Choccyhobnob · 22/04/2014 12:50

I think Atticus is a great suggestion and goes well with Cyrus!

Alexander means Defender of people.

BikeRunSki · 22/04/2014 16:15

Charles, after Charles Grey, earl (as in Earl Grey Tea) and former prime minister who established democracy in Britain.
