Debate of colour names?

Personally i love them. Some- yes are a little outrageous but my next baba is going to be called Saffron and i couldn't think of a more beautiful name!
I also like, Scarlett, Rose, Indigo, Amber, Violet.

Sienna?

Family I know have 3 children called......

Scarlet

And RED!!!!!!

The little boy is called Red!

thats going beyond a joke ruprekt.

having said that, debating using redmond for a boy, which would probably have Red as a nickname... however that wil conclude the colour scheme in the family.

I like Redmond though.

I even like Red tbh.....but with Ruby and Scarlet? Pmsl!

I know Blue as a boy's name.
Rufus is a boy name & a colour.
My black boy cat is called Nero.

I knew a family - surname of Brown - who called their son Red .....

I rather like colour names but gave DS a very traditional English name.

I've always liked Amber. I think because it has a strong consonant ending.

I like colour names, but as DH's last name (and therefore DC's) is also a colour, they just don't work.

Once I actually suggested Olive, still love it too...

Fuchsia too easy to make a rude nickname from.

Lila german for purple.
Rosa german for pink.

Hellrosa is light pink, if you think she'll grow up naughty.

Love the name Bruno! Is that Spanish for brown?
