Fenella?

Read the name Fenella in a book and like the way it looks and sounds. What do you all think?

If you like it that's all that matters really.

Bit jolly hockey sticks prefect voice-y for my taste, but nice enough.

For some reason, in my mind, it's linked to the name Miranda. Was there a book with two characters called Fenella and Miranda? (Also love Miranda but wouldn't use it at mo as Miranda Hart is waaaaaay too popular)

I met one for the first time this year.
She's a pre teen and quite quirky. It's different but I'm not sure how popular.

Yes, the nickname for Fenella is Fen.

I don't mind Nell but not Nelly. Fen is nice for an adult.

Fenny is OK. Tbh I don't like planning nicknames- I think they just naturally evolve.

Yes, I think Arthur Dent was disappointed to think she was called something as daft as Fenella but then warmed to the idea of Fenchurch.

I like it, but I also like Fionnuala or Fern as alternatives.
