Eva-why do I only think of Hitler's wife?!

Trying in vain to pick a name and like this but can't stop thinking of Hitler's mistress/wife! Mad?!

My dd is Eva and this is my first time to use this website, very surprised to see 3 threads about the name Eva on the first page!

Is it very common in the UK? (I'm in ROI) and it's not common at all, I don't actually know any other Eva's.

I briefly thought of Eva Braun but her name would have been pronounced Ava as E is pronounced as A in German.

I like to think of Eva Cassidy and all her beautiful songs.
