Gwen Stefani has named her 3rd son, Apollo.

My twins are called Apollo & Artemis, so I must say she has good taste in names Grin Wink.

Given that you effectively 'stole' your children's names directly from Greek mythology I would imagine that's what most people will think of when they hear the names.

Onesleeptillwembley · 02/03/2014 09:35

When they meet Artemis and Apollo I don't think Gwen Stephani will be their first thought.

MerryWinterfel · 02/03/2014 10:08

Tweet her, she might still have time to change it!

MultipleMama · 02/03/2014 10:53

MerryWinterfel - Haha. I don't have twitter Wink

Do you think the God's would be pissed I stole their names? Maybe the thread title should have been copied not stole but it's all a bit of fun Grin

:) I think Gwen might be a bit worried that people will think she stole your name!

Both great names by the way!

Innogen · 02/03/2014 13:28

Agree with Onesleep.

Artemis and Apollo are a lot to take in. People won't get past the names themselves to reach Gwen Stefani!

really like all the Valentino Rossi appreciation on here "a beautiful man" indeed despite being nicknamed "the goat" Wink and we had a Patient called Apollo in his 30's suited him very well, Marco is good too Sad

blueemerald · 02/03/2014 13:36

I'm two years older than Princess Beatrice but as a child people still thought my mum 'stole' her name.

MultipleMama · 02/03/2014 14:24

Apollo was going to be named Jupiter but when he was born he didn't look like a Jupiter! Grin

cjbk1 - I'm more of a Sebastian Vettel girl but I can appreciate Rossi's charming good looks Wink

I love beatrice it's pretty and elegant.

Sebastien is cute but they'll all a bit young for me Wink

OhNoYouExpedidnt · 02/03/2014 19:44

The opinion of anyone who knows the names of celebrities babies and cares isn't important as far as I'm concerned!

Yonineedaminute · 03/03/2014 11:10

Ah I remember Apollo who was nearly called Jupiter - there was a huge thread on here wasn't there?

MultipleMama · 04/03/2014 02:04

Yeah, there was :)

Cjbk1 - isn't "the goat" because he is the Greatest Of All Time?

MultipleMama · 04/03/2014 03:04

Cjbk1 - Isn't his nn "The Doctor" though? Confused

also 'The Goat' they say it quite a lot on the commentary- you can see why Wink

cjbk1 · 04/03/2014 19:40

I didn't see ants comment; I think the nickname is dual purpose, (acronym and appearance) the way they say it on bbc commentary refers to his appearance that's why I say you can see why....
