Classic but not boring boys' names?

I'm not pregnant, but DH and I definitely want to try for #3 within the next year. I took forever to agree on DD's name so I want a list in my head before we even try. Blush (Plus I am bored.) DC are Samuel and Margaret (Sam and Maggie, mostly) and for another girl I'd love Phoebe.

Boys' names kicked around in the past: William, James, Alexander (Alec), Charles (Charlie), Thomas. I do love them all but they seem...boring? I don't know.

Suggestions?

Oliver -- no A or M but you could use Michael for a middle name.
Liam -- Irish; goes well with the other names; meaning is William.
Eamonn -- another Irish name; meaning is 'Edward'.

Peter, John or David are classic traditional names that are not used so much now - when did you last hear of a baby with any of these names? I do like James, William etc but they are very popular.

Did like PP suggestion of Adam though, especially as you would like the A and M theme to continue...

I think Thomas would be lovely.
If you were willing to sacrifice the M, Francis is nice too.

Amos
Cormac
Callum
