We have a name picked we think for DC2 who is due in a matter of weeks..however i'm not 100% sure that it's the right name. Therefore I'm opening the floor up! What name would you call a baby if it's sister was called H o n o r.

Hit me with it Xmas Wink would love to hear views just to get a different idea!

Thanks

I'd be tempted by another 'virtue' name so perhaps something along the lines of:

Amity
Clemency
Verity
Merryn (Merry)
Blithe

Leon
Tobin
Gabriel

What name do you like? Are any of us close?!

Henry

Hero

Thanks for the suggestions, some interesting ones. All quite middle of the range. Which is fine. I am surprised though I thought there might be some slightly more outlandish suggestions...anyone feeling brave Xmas Wink

Thank you so much for the suggestions Xmas Smile

Interesting how quite a few of you have picked names that I had on my —brave— list. DH’s name has also been mentioned a few times. Sadly can’t use that, it’s a great name through.

DD was named after a family member, not keen on using another 'virtue’ name. Might be kicking the ass out of it somewhat.

I love..Hero —DH suggested this for DD but he’s gone off it now— I would utterly love to use Juno.

Kit was suggested for DD however, neither of us like Christopher or the other names for Kit. And DH just feels it’s ‘lacking’ something.

Xavier, Hunter and India, I love, DH doesn’t.

Trinity Xmas Shock really! You are joking right Wink

What about another ‘H’ name? Would that be odd?

Thanks

Not odd to have two names with the same letter, but the pearl clutchers will be along telling you to think of the postal confusion....Xmas Grin

How about

Howard/Howie
Herbert
Halbert/ Hal
Hugh
Henry/Harry
or

Hannibal......

or for girls

Hannah
Hester
Hermione
and now I'm struggling..

I think having 2 'H' is okay since in DD name the 'H' is silent.

I always think its a shame to have the same syllable as when post arrives for Miss H they won't know which one it's for. Just something I've always tried to avoid!

Connie or Rowan for a girl
Freddie or Ptolemy for a boy.
