Girls names A-Z ...

DS2 keeps me up for several hours each night (9 months old, still has a night feed, will NOT settle after & is full on teething - JESUS CHRIST I NEED TO SLEEP!!!). DH and I don't have the energy aren't TTC, but to keep myself from nodding off during feeds, I do my Fantasy A-Z of Girls Names. We have 2 DS and DH is adamant we'll see there wont be anymore DC, but it passes the time. Smile

There are a couple of letters where I'm not particularly keen on any names. Fancy helping me out/telling me your A-Z? Smile

meh=not really arsed about it.

Profondo & Felix: I'm stealing your S names too. How did I forget about Sylvie & Severine?! They were both #1 on my shortlist for first and middle names respectively when we were expecting DS1.

Have you all had a pop at Mortifieds Boys A-Z thread? Some great names there too. Smile

Lots of people going for Sylvie... Mine is four now, is this name going to become as ubiquitous as Ruby did a few years ago? Or as Isla is now - or are we just a minority with good taste (I still think it is the loveliest name!)?

Anjou · 08/12/2013 11:18

Great choice for your DD, Indiana. I've loved the name Sylvie since meeting one when I visited France about 25 years ago. Its beautiful. It seems to be popular on the MN name boards but I'm yet to meet one in real life (I'm in Edinburgh). Don't worry, I don't think it will be as widespread as the Ruby/Ella/Isla/Eva trends. Smile

Thanks Anjou! Only trouble is, all names I like for a girl (if indeed that's what this bump turns out to be) are really similar... Except Clover, which I love but husband totally vetoes on grounds it sounds like a farm animal's name.

PrincessFlirtyPants · 08/12/2013 21:44

My name has appeared on this list a few times, you all have great taste Wink
