Heath is the best of a bad bunch. Kyle makes me cringe.

I do get intrigued sometimes when people totally slate a name, as to what their own DCs names are, anyone else?

justhayley · 15/11/2013 23:48

First choice Heath.
When I think Kyle I think Jeremey and that's just bad

SirChenjin · 16/11/2013 08:15

Theonlyoneiknow - I think that's the danger of name threads, people do tend to give very honest opinions whereas in RL they will (in the main) just smile and say "what a lovely name" Smile

Theonlyoneiknow · 16/11/2013 09:54

I know, sad to think most people are looking at my beautiful DS (going by the number of people on here that hate the name) and thinking what a horrible name he has :(. It's really quite upsetting. Am not thick skinned enough for these threads!

SirChenjin · 16/11/2013 12:02

I know. I once heard my adorable DS2's name described as 'chavvy' on here - it's really not a 'chavvy' name, and we are certainly not 'chavvy' people, but oh my goodness, it hurt.

I love Heath
Know a lovely one in his 40s quite aside from the delectable Mr Ledger

Theonlyoneiknow · 24/11/2013 09:10

I know what you mean sir

StellaLuna82 · 24/11/2013 10:47

Heath!
Doesn't sound American to me - the first thing that comes to mind is Heathcliff, Wuthering Heights, probably the best byronic hero of all time!

(apparently Heath Ledger and his sister were named after the characters) :)

TheNunsOfGavarone · 24/11/2013 10:54

Love Hadrian. Not that keen on Heath or Kyle.

SavoyCabbage · 24/11/2013 10:57

I met a woman with a ds called Heath and she said she bitterly regretted it as she couldn't shout it across a park without sounding like she had hooping cough.

Beamur · 24/11/2013 11:00

Heath is my favourite of your 3, I know a little boy called Heath and it's an unusual one - I don't know any others called this.
Hadrian could really grow on me. Adrian is out of fashion as a childs name at the moment, so there wouldn't be many/any Adrians of his age.
Kyle - nah.

Beamur · 24/11/2013 11:03

TheonlyoneIknow - sorry, read your post after I've written mine. I'm guessing your DS is a Kyle. No offence meant.
I've seen my DD's name described as awful on these threads too - don't take it personally.

Alisvolatpropiis · 24/11/2013 11:57

Heath.

The other two are awful.
