What do you think of Sadie? Our surname is on syllable

I think Sadie is lovely.

Looks like Sad-ie so someone who is very Sad.

My dog is called Sadie! She is very beautiful though. We call her Sadism when she is being naughty.

Fab name choice lol! My married surname is only 1 syllable and it sounds fine. Can honestly say I've never been called a sadist nor had anyone ever make that link before reading it on here! Though from experience she will probably get called 'sad' a lot and will have the song 'daisy, daisy' sung to her with the name replaced!!

DS has an absolutely delightful and very pretty kindergarten teacher called Sadie, so that helps my association.
