I'm 38 weeks and haven't a clue what to call it if its a girl. Hoping its a boy because I have that name sorted. I want a strong female name.

I quite like Frances - but don't like the nickname frankie and DH not massively keen.

DH likes Delphine & Cecille but I'm not keen on the nicknames and not sure if strong enough IYKWIM.

Names I had last time were Frida & Olive but I've gone off these for some reason.

Any suggestions massively appreciated as time is running out! (DS came at 38+2)

I almost named DD Frances! Instead she is Margaret Rose. I call her Maggie most of the time. I also loved Louisa.

If iris is definitely the middle name I'd say the one that sounds best with it is olive.

Frances iris sounds awful!

Frances is a lovely name.

I also like Frida.

Olive makes me think of Olive Oyl in Popeye (you're probably too young for this reference though).

If you like Cecile, how about Celia or Camille?

Strong names for me could include
Lindsay
Ellen
Marina
