Girls:

Bonnie
Mabel
Sadie
Esme

Boys:

Zachary
Rory
Sonny
Dexter

We are keeping our name choices from family and friends as we want it to be a complete surprise but can't come to a conclusion together.

Looking for a general public consensus so would you please be able to number them 1-4 from most favourite to least. Smile

Bonnie or Zachary. Bonnie is fine for an adult, I know a teenage one and it suits her.

peachypips · 17/09/2013 13:36

I am not chavvy I don't think and I like Sadie!

CourgetteSmuggler · 17/09/2013 14:40

Haha Peacy I quite like names that have been around for a good 200 years but Sadie doesn't sound like it has. hmm.

superlambanana · 17/09/2013 14:42

Esme
Mabel
Sadie
(Bonnie)

Rory
Zachary
(Sonny
Dexter)

Really don't like the names in brackets! Others are good, really like the top two in each list.

CourgetteSmuggler · 17/09/2013 17:16

Oh dear I'm so torn between the girls names. Confused

We will put Zachary on the birth certificate and use Zach for short so if He ever felt he needed a longer first name he could go back to it.

Thank you for all your help so far Smile

Esme or Mabel, Rory or Zachary.

The rest aren't names for human beings.

curlew · 17/09/2013 17:18

Bonnie's a nickname- not a name for an adult woman.

curlew · 17/09/2013 17:27

Oh, God, I though I'd be helpful by finding out what Bonnie Langford's ral name is- Bonita Malody Lysette. Makes Bonnie sound OK, though.........!

curlew · 17/09/2013 17:27

Bonnie Tyler is Gaynor.

peachypips · 17/09/2013 17:35

Our Zachary is called Zach normally. Just happened like that.
My adult friend who is called Bonnie is actually called Bonita. She is always Bonnie though and it is fine.

I have just written the post above that my DS is called Zachary. Now, I know that we all have different taste, but why would you say it is awful in such a vehement way when I've just written that my DS is called that!!

Esme
Sadie
Bonnie

Rory
Sonny
Zachary
Dexter

AllDirections · 17/09/2013 21:37

Zachary is my all time favourite boy's name and DDs 2&3 would have both been Zachary. DD2 is now 13 so it's been my favourite for a long time and I would still give it to a boy if I had one now which is sadly not going to happen Sad

whatagreatname · 17/09/2013 21:40

Mabel & Sonny

bundaberg · 17/09/2013 21:42
