So, we already have a James and we don't know if he is going to have a brother or sister. These are the 3 names we've shortlisted. 2 girls and 1 boys name. Which of these girls names do you think sounds better?

James and Eleanor or James and Matilda. Our boys name is Christopher, wish we had a second option for boys names too but could not agree on anything. If we like Christopher, what else might we like?

Thanks for the help ladies :-)

Michael?

I think Daniel goes perfectly!

Eleanor is a gorgeous name (and Eleanor Roosevelt is a fantastic namesake!)
I'm useless when it comes to boys' names but do like Felix

Eleanor or Christopher - either sound good with James!

Sorry for any repeats:
Peter
Michael
Anthony
Matthew

Phoebe
Madeline
Olivia
Harriet

Thank you so much for the lovely suggestions. I think for a girl we're definitely leaning towards Eleanor now. For a boy Christopher is still a strong contender but think it's competing with Daniel now, like Michael too but it's my cousins name. Of course, it's very difficult to find a name that nobody has or named their children unless you go for something really unusual.

Eleanor and Daniel are beautiful names.

Definitely Eleanor. I love it. Matilda is also nice but not as lovely as Eleanor. I prefer Daniel over Christopher but I do like both and Kit is a great nickname for Christopher.
