Gosh Fleur seems to be a real marmite name. I think it sounds so pretty and feminine. As for it rhyming with blurgh....well in my whole entire life I have never used the word blurgh or heard it used, so I don't think that is an issue.

Fleur is pretty. Best of the four.
Nell is ok. Like it better as a shortened Eleanor. Bella is nice, shame about the blooming Twilight connection.
Cassia is not my cuppa tea.
Juno... June? Jane? Jenny? Julia? Think I'd prefer any of them.

Nell is horrid - girl from the Piano film.
Fleur by far. It's not one of my faves but the others are really not nice I don't think. Juno is a terrible name!!

Thank you for all your comments. I think I'm down to Fleur Seraphina or Cassia Primrose.

I will possibly do a thread on these at some stage!

I love Fleur (DD2's mn) Smile Then Nell then Cassia and Juno, but I don't really like Cassia and Juno.
Fleur Seraphins is beautiful Smile

MissingMyMarbles · 25/08/2013 18:58

*Seraphina Hmm

Snazzyenjoyingsummer · 25/08/2013 19:04

Of the two finalists I prefer Fleur, although I agree with another poster that Flora is lovely. Cassia seems like an attempt to make Cassie seem 'different' although Cassandra is nice.

Allalonenow · 25/08/2013 19:25

Fleur Seraphina is perfect.

StrawberryMojito · 25/08/2013 19:27

I like Nell. What about calling her Helen, Nell for short?

Cloudkitten · 25/08/2013 21:41

Fleur Seraphina is really beautiful.

Ehhn · 25/08/2013 21:44

I know a nell and she is absolutely lovely but she told me that she was called nell smells all through early childhood and then later was driven to an eating disorder with chants of Nellie the elephant.

Ehhn · 25/08/2013 21:46

Also now she is in academic circles she gets "are you named for nell gwynne" ie prostitute/actress in 17th c. She was a courtesan of the king though... Pretty name but too easily abused!

BabyBrainMom · 25/08/2013 21:47

Like Nell most

MrsJohnDeere · 25/08/2013 21:48

Fleur

Birdies · 25/08/2013 21:48

I think bullies would go for the bleurgh fleur thing and Juno sounds like a boys name to me.

Cassia is quite a nice name and I like Nell. Although if she ends up large, would she get 'nelly the elephant' comments. Sorry, I just always think of how it would work for them at school! So, Cassia wins...

williaminajetfighter · 25/08/2013 23:48

Cassia I'm not bad about but like it shortened to Cass. What about the longer version Cassiopeia? It's a constellation, lovely...

Fleur seems a bit too prissy and trytoohard.

Nell reminds me of the mean girl, nelly, on little house on the prairie.

Juno will date I think - as others have said.

littlemisspiggy90 · 26/08/2013 00:09

I don't like Fleur at all, reminds me of bleughh. Nell sounds incomplete, but would make a great nn. I love Juno, I think it's a beautiful, unique name. Cassia is my favourite by far, almost called my DD2 it.

curlew · 26/08/2013 00:12

Nell short for Helen. Wonderful!

Alisvolatpropiis · 26/08/2013 01:28

I only like Fleur from your choices. It's lovely.

Nell is awful.

Cassia just doesn't fare as well as it's male counterpart, Cassius.

Juno is awful

NadiaWadia · 26/08/2013 04:30

Another vote for Cassia. Nell is lovely as a nickname, but seems too short for an official name, should be short for Helen/a or Eleanor.
