Can't agree on a single boy's name...

DH and I agreed on a girl's name weeks ago but are having a hopeless time with boys names. DH is quite traditional with names but all his suggestions are really popular around our way: Henry, Harry, Jacob, William etc.

I really hate the idea that my child could be in a class with three other kids with the same name. Any ideas for names that are not overused but not weird and too outlandish?

Alex was on my shortlist but a very close friend had a baby two weeks ago and called it Alex, not sure if it's the done thing to use the same name for my child.....

Frank?

Frank is a bit of a marmite name for me - not really sure if I love it or hate it at the moment. Will keep it on the list for now.

My favourite boys name which DP never let me have is Jasper. I think its lovely.

Good luck on finding a name for your LO x

I'm due in 3 weeks and DS2 will be Stanley. DH came up with it as I wanted a traditional name but not that popular holy grail

The others on our list were Charles, Benedict (I teach Shakespeare lol) and Jeffrey.

I feel your pain. DH vetoed many of my choices and in the end we went for a name that we both 'liked'

Rory, Leo, Arthur?

Best of luck.
