I think it's a great name and really really does the little bit I know called Jago.

Think it's pronounced jay-go but I've only ever seen it written

makescakeswhenstressed · 22/06/2013 20:13

Really really suits the little boy. ..

auto fail

ghosteditor · 22/06/2013 20:13

It's jay-go. I know an awesome toddler called the same. In fact his mum will probably be along to comment soon Grin

It's a bit different but a good sturdy Cornish name.

PollyPlummer · 22/06/2013 20:14

I think its Jay go, the Cornish equivalent to Jacob. I love it.

ghosteditor · 22/06/2013 20:14

Xpost cakes Wink

Ablababla · 22/06/2013 20:14

Everyone will pronounce it like othello ime. Really wanted this for DS but our family found it too bewildering. Happy we went for it as a second name only.

PollyPlummer · 22/06/2013 20:14

x post ghost

makescakeswhenstressed · 22/06/2013 20:16

hah. same little boy ghost knows I might add.

ghosteditor · 22/06/2013 20:19

Gotta love MN quiches Wink

perfectmummy · 22/06/2013 20:32

yes Cornish as far as I'm aware. We loved it and our DS was nearly named it

GwendolineMaryLacey · 22/06/2013 20:34

Love it.

Othello was Iago who was a sod

Mintyy · 22/06/2013 20:37

I always try to like or love the names in the baby names thread.

But I'm afraid this is one of those I just cannot like, no matter what I do. It is toooooooo posh for me and therefore strays into Crispin and Annabel territory. Sorry.

Theimpossiblegirl · 22/06/2013 20:47

If it is pronounced Jay-go, I love it.
:)

AintNobodyHereButUsKittens · 22/06/2013 20:49

I know a Cornish Jago (yes, Jay-go). Nice chap, quite posh. It's an ok name I think.

BonaDea · 22/06/2013 22:33

Sorry, I hate it.
