Let me be first Grin

They are both lovely imho.

IAteTheCake · 23/05/2013 09:34

neither are my cup of tea...but perfectly ok...

MrsApplepants · 23/05/2013 09:46

I don't like either, but perfectly fine ( ie not ridiculous) names

Eskino · 23/05/2013 09:48

Not really. I'd prefer the Rhys spelling if I had to choose. Jordan is Katie Price. Sorry

MoaningMingeWhingesAgain · 23/05/2013 09:51

Not really keen TBH

HorryIsUpduffed · 23/05/2013 09:51

Jordan is objectively nice but tainted by association nowadays, IMHO.

Reece/Reese/Rhys has less of the negative associations, but not my style really.

DonDrapersAltrEgoBigglesDraper · 23/05/2013 09:56

Neither my style, but not awful.

JojoMags · 23/05/2013 10:04

Rhys is OK. Reece and Jordan awful. Isn't Reece some kind of American peanut confectionary?

Allthatglitters789 · 23/05/2013 10:13

Reese's is the American confectionary.

Not my taste, but that shouldn't really matter. Thankfully we all have different tastes - makes life more interesting!

ThingummyBob · 23/05/2013 10:27

I like Reece (as in Witherspoon) but would use Rhys for a boy.

Jordan is either girl or boy for me, and would imagine that Jordan the model will be long gone from our collective memory by the time a baby born now is an adult!

Littlecherublegs · 23/05/2013 10:29

Like Rhys for a boy, but not Jordan.
Neither for a girl.

notso · 23/05/2013 10:42

Are the names for a DD or DS?

I wouldn't use either for a girl.

For a boy I think Reece is fine, but a bit boring.
I think it's a bit daft to use the Rhys spelling if you don't speak welsh as it won't be pronounced properly.
Don't like Jordan, never have done from NKOTB days.

TiggerWearsATriteSmile · 23/05/2013 10:43

What Littlecherub said ^

LaRegina · 23/05/2013 10:46

Reece reminds me of Peanut Butter Cups, so all good Smile

Jordan not so good - unfortunately Katie Price has tainted that name forever IMO.

OwlLady · 23/05/2013 10:50

Rhys

Onesleeptillwembley · 23/05/2013 10:54

Neither to my taste, but do agree it should be Rhys.

cantbloodywellchoose · 23/05/2013 10:55

Not keen on either for boy or girl, sorry.

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 23/05/2013 11:40

For girl or boy I like them. Reece has the edge.

miffybun73 · 23/05/2013 12:16

Not very keen, but not awful.

It's just that out of all the 100s of possible names I wouldn't choose those two.

Not names that I would choose.

DribbleWiper · 23/05/2013 15:34

Rhys - okay if you're Welsh.

Jordan - quite a common teenage name, although there was a 3-year-old in the doctor's the other day. Sorry, but I've met a LOT of teenaged boys with this name and (except in one case), they didn't make me associate good things with it.

Cameron? Joshua? Euan? Ryan? Hayden?

TenthMuse · 23/05/2013 15:54

Neither are my style. Prefer spelling Rhys, but wouldn't use either personally.

sjuperyoni · 23/05/2013 16:14

Prefer reece/rhys. Jordan for a girl is tainted by KP and i just dislije it for boys.
