I know a Ffion and a Rhys. I think they work well together as they are both well known Welsh names so easy to pronounce for English people (and easy to spell!).

soontobeslendergirl · 25/04/2013 14:37

if you want to stick with the double letter thing, how about Lloyd?

alwayslateforwork · 25/04/2013 14:40

Olivia

James

I think sticking with the welsh would be a bit try-hard unless you are deep in the valleys or in Kensington, tbh.

Ffion is such a lovely name - I think I would be tempted to use it, but I am not remotely Welsh, and therefore I think it sounds a bit contrived. There are some absolutely lovely Welsh names out there, I might invent a Welsh heritage for myself, thinking about it!

That wasn't helpful to you at all, was it? Tbh I think any classic Welsh or non-Welsh name goes with Ffion - the only name I wouldn't put with it would be a very modern surnamey type name, as for eg Ffion and Kayden would sound very odd indeed.

My faves from your list are Carys and Aaron.
