Floresca

[AndFanjoWasHisNameO]

This name has just been on an episode of a murder victim Criminal Minds.
Pronounced Fleu-ress-aah.
I really like it (but am 38 weeks pregnant and therefore massively unreliable in all matters of Real Life) is it my hormones???

It's the hormones.....and it looks like it should be pronounced Flor es ka which is awful.

Thought as much....

It sounds like a brand name of glow in the dark condoms. Sorry.

Trust us, it's the hormones. Sounds like a strange cross between Florence and Francesca. Not good.

Was going to suggest it sounds like fabric conditioner, but I think picnic might be more accurate.

Looks like you mushed up Flora and Francesca. The latter is lovely btw!

Flourescent

Gardening product

Ok ok- fully accept that I'm crackers and that it would be better suited to a fluorescent weed killer
This is why I need the collective sense of you lot at this stage....don't worry, you've already vetted my baby names!

I thought it might be a new spreadable butter

Margarine?

People will pronounce it Floor ess ka. Now I know the proper pronunciation I can't help but put on a southern drawl. Also sounds like a detergent. Sorry!

Agree, it sounds like Flor-eska, and makes me think of yellow flourescent paint.

A cross between Florence and Vanessa (either of those any good?)

Or Francesca?
