Help me convince dh about Genevieve

Was going through some name ideas today at work and Genevieve got the most 'wow' response, and I realised how much I love it.

But dh isn't keen.

How can I persuade him?

Also, do you think it will inevitably get shortened? We already have a Jen and an Eve in the family so I'm trying to think of alternative abbreviations .... Any ideas?

If your DH would need to be convinced to use it, he clearly doesn't like it. Sorry, i'd pick a name you both want.

Lovely name

The lottery machine was Guinevere not Genevieve. Genevieve is the patron Saint of Paris....and also the name of an old film about a car.
I love the name and dd does too (also the name of Madeleine's dog in the cartoon she is obsessed with!)
