Just for fun, because my sister is due any day now!

I suggested Crucifissa Grin but I can't think of any normal ones.

The word anastasis, from which the name comes, is a central idea of Christian faith and its meaning obviously has a huge significance because the whole point of Christianity (most versions of it) is the idea of salvation through Jesus Christ and eternal life. In the Christian context (which gave rise to the name) it means literally resurrection of the body from the dead, coming to life again by the grace of God, and not some sort of rebirth that could be loosely interpreted as a change of heart, reincarnation in the Hindu sense, etc.

I really don't understand why you've suggested Ishtar as an Easter themed name aufaniae.

Ishtar is a Sumero-Babylonian goddess of fertility and war. It is not known today exactly at what time of the year a festival might have been held in her honour.

Veronica. According to legend she wiped the face of Jesus. Think I have got that right!

Egg - it worked for Andew Lincoln in This Life!!!

Roc - Catalan boy's name, I love it! (rock-stone-easter... weakest link??)

Mona - Easter cake in Catalonia. Also a big chocolate 'house' that godparents give their godchildren.
