Would you think boy or girl?

Boy,I like it. There was a couple on location location location who had a baby boy called Texas, they were very cool and arty!

Quirky! There wont be two in her class at school that's for sure.

i would think poor kid going through school with a name like that. But to be honest i am not into all these arty farty names for children. Its hard enough in life without the added burden of a stupid name.

I'd first think the parents were nuts. Then I would think girl but don't know why.

I know a girl called Texa. It may sound a bit to some, but Texa is an island of the Inner Hebrides and she's from the highlands, so I think it works. Texas is def not my cup of tea though.

Why is Bram considered odd? It's just short for Abraham isn't it?

Probably 'yellow rose of Texas' , Viviennemary. I would think boy- and what a shame for the child.

I have known a male Texas before `twas a cat but a boy definitely.

I don't usually like unconventional names, but for once, I quite like this.

I'd think girl. I've heard a lot worse. At least it's spelt the correct way. Nothing worse than a parent changing the spelling to 'their own way' x

But weren't all names new and unusual once?

I wouldn't know whether Texas was masculine or feminine though (I would think "pony" first). I had same problem with Jordan when that became more popular.
