What would you think if you heard a child being called any of these names?

I love Vera. I know it has Coronation Street associations, but if you can just see beyond that it's such a beautiful name and definitely due a comeback. I would think "good work, parents!" if I heard a child being called Vera.
Guinevere's a bit much - isn't it the root of Jennifer?
Verena I would think had German heritage and Elvira I would think Goth parents (not that there's anything wrong with that!)
I quite like Valerie, too - also due a revival - and Elfride.
