I like Raven. For a boy- not even for a girl. Blush

And Wolf. I don't think I could name a child that, but I love the nn Wolfie!

Thor. Don't think it'd work out in real life.

Aphrodite. Again, love the name Blush

Rune. I just love the name for a boy!

Btw, I wouldn't EVER name my child Raven (for a boy), Wolf, Thor, Aphorodite or Rune. But I still love them.

Does anyone else have any guilty pleasure names?

Leaf for a boy. I gave serious thought to Leif (pronounced Layf) for ds, but dp said no Sad

Pasiphae for a girl.

madamecake · 19/02/2013 18:26

Atticus for a boy, love love love it. But it rhymes with our surname (unusual itself), so it's not to be.

My DS's name is on here, as is DD's best friend and a friend's dc.

Bodhi for a girl? Well I never.

scarlettsmummy2 · 19/02/2013 18:38

Araminta. Not posh enough to ever use it though!

Posy
Bean (middle name girl)

McKayz · 19/02/2013 18:48

Persephone. I absolutely love it but whenever it's mentioned on here everyone says its awful.

HeartShapedSaw · 19/02/2013 18:53

My ds's name is on here too!

Littlefish · 19/02/2013 19:01

Spike.

MamaMimi · 19/02/2013 19:04

Grover for a boy (have 2 dds and not having anymore, plus dp wouldn't have allowed it!)

Rowan for a girl (although we almost used it for dd2)

MamaMimi · 19/02/2013 19:06

Ther's a Spike at dds' school

MamaMimi · 19/02/2013 19:07

I also know an adult Thor.

BasicallySFB · 19/02/2013 19:08

If we had a girl she was Anastasia :)

We had a boy - I was vetoed on both Denver and Devon as 'We're not the frigging Beckhams, and neither are we having a little VGA être baby' ... I'm still seething two years on :)

BasicallySFB · 19/02/2013 19:09

VGA être? WTF?? 'Chavette'...

CommanderShepard · 19/02/2013 19:15

Delphine; Delphie for short. But it got the spousal veto and our cat is called Elphie.

DizzyHoneyBee · 19/02/2013 19:20

I love Persephone but got really put off it when somebody kept on mispronouncing it...or maybe I was but I think it is per-seph-o-knee not
purs-e-phone ?

McKayz · 19/02/2013 19:21

Oooh yes Delphine is gorgeous. I had a thread about Delphine and the general consensus was that it was a donkey in peppa pig

Varya · 19/02/2013 19:40

Salome, for a girl. I knew a man called Raven and thought it was great. My mum and aunt knew a Canadian called Rocky. Sabrina appeals to me for girls and Sabre for boys.

fruitypie · 19/02/2013 20:10

I used to really love Claudia and Veronica....when i suggested these to DH he laughed like it was some sort of sick joke. needless to say i laughed along too like it was all a joke but in fact i was crying inside!! ;)

ShowOfHands · 19/02/2013 21:26

DS is Raphael.

Teladi · 19/02/2013 21:28

Cassiopeia

mrmump · 19/02/2013 22:35

Loving Eponine after Les Mis, but I feel there might be a few of them in the months to come!
I always wanted Blue for a boy, "little boy Blue...."

LineRunner · 19/02/2013 23:17

There will be a rash of Cosettes, Cozettes, Kozettes...

eggso · 19/02/2013 23:27

I was desperate for Rocco for DS.DP wanted Liam... [hmmm] we eventually compromised on a middle ground for DS.

DD's - Iwouldn't of been ableto chose, there are so many more ridiculous options for girls :) I love Julia, after watching something with JodieFoster in a few years ago. DS is a J, so wouldnt ever double initial!
