Been asking about girls names but after scan today, our son decided he wasn't shy in showing gender and even to the untrained eye it was obvious we were having a little boy. [Smile]

So here goes for names and peoples honest views. We do like unusual names with nature type meanings and like old english or celtic style. These are our suggestions so far...
Quinlan nn quinn
Tarian nn tarry
Tarryn
Soren
Roan
Rohan

Ds1 is called iden. Other suggestions welcome!

I think the names of all 12 boys in my son's class have now been mentioned here so not particularly unusual....in Ireland!

I know a female Tarrian - its a lovely name and she is a lovely person but now I could never see it as a 'boys' name.

I like Adair as suggested by pixie and also Struan by amck

I like Dermot

If Caisel was an Irish name it would be pronounced Cashel.

AlphaBeta -- Beware of books called 'Celtic' anything. You don't want to give your child a comedy name.
