Dd1 is 6 days old and we have have decided on either Dylan or Morgan. I know the general consensus on mn is that unisex names are a no no but we like them. Mn will be Emily, so my question is, if you HAD to choose one which would you choose? Ds1 is Rowan and Ds2 is Sebastian (yes rhyming names too)

Please help we have been going back and forth for weeks now and even now that she is here can't decide.

Dylan Emily is lovely.

Don't like Morgan at all, sorry.

SanctuaryMoon · 29/12/2012 23:15

Another one for Morgan here, I'm afraid i think Dylan is a male name. I too think of Rowan as being the girl's name :-) i think if you can't decide, it might be time to go for something else as clearly neither name suits your lovely little bundle. Congratulations by the way x

love Dylan! it is what we call our not-yet-conceived-baby Blush

dont mind morgan, i have not heard it for a while, but Dylan for a girl is fab

I don't mind unisex names but to me they're both historical welsh male names

What about Dillon?

Dillon Emily.

Ruprekt · 29/12/2012 23:38

Dylan for a girl is awful!

Morgan is OK but it is odd how different we all are. If I had a girl after 2 boys I would choose a really feminine name for her.

Emily Morgan is lovely.

SleighbellsRingInYourLife · 29/12/2012 23:40

Morgan

KittieCat · 29/12/2012 23:45

Dylan is so much nicer than Morgan. Morgan always makes me think of that dreadful clothes shop.

Surely those who think Rowan is female moniker must have heard of Rowan Atkinson?! Love the names Rowan and Sebastian btw.

Congrats!

I like Morgan for a girl. I actually love the name Dylan, but only for boys.

I have a friend called Dilla, similar sounding to Dylan , but more feminine , without being too girly.

Another who thinks Dylan is a male name, sorry. Emily is beautiful....
