Inspiration needed - names that go with Aaron & Joshua

Got ages to go but this time really can't think of any names we like so we're trying to put some thought into it now to see what grows on us. Hopefully we'll find out if we're having a boy or a girl next month but for now, we're looking more at boys names as we both have a strong feeling it will be another boy.

So, we have Aaron and Joshua at the moment, any thoughts as to what goes well with these names?

Thanks :)

I know of brothers Aaron and Joshua and their other brother is called Christopher.

Me again, still struggling with names and got 5 weeks to go now. There are lots I like suggested here but whatever I like, dh doesn't! GRRRR. His top 4 names at the moment are:

Miles
Aiden
Reece
Hayden

And he's now muttering 'Marlon'. We did have a much longer list from a couple of nights ago but he's just gone through it again and changed his mind about most!

I do want his middle name to be Joe or Joeseph (after my grandfather I never met) so something to go with that would be great.

Any other ideas or thoughts on hubby's choices above?

x

Aiden is too similar to Aaron imo.
Miles ok.
I'd spell Rhys not Reece, think it goes well with your other boys (the sound and I think that spelling looks better with the two OT names as well).
Don't like Hayden.

Rhys Joseph would be my choice of those listed. Good luck!

Not sure those 4 names go with your existing two. I'd stick with more traditional, biblical names. Isaac? Daniel? Caleb? Nathaniel?

Lyftiduft - very similar to me then! :) I said Aiden was too much like Aaron and I also don't really like Hayden. I like Miles in general but Im not sure how I feel about it for my own if that makes sense. And yes, my favourite is Rhys (spelt that way) but dh said he'd only be happy with Reece as the other spelling is the Welsh way. Tbh, he's still thinking I might change my name about Elvis lol, it's not going to happen!

Biscuitsneeded - I know what you mean, I've been trying all sorts of biblical names due to the boy having those (although not for that reason, just turned out that way). It's just hard to agree on something as we both have different tastes. I like Issac but not sure about it going with our surname.

If it helps, our surname begins with a C :)

Oliver? That was my first thought after seeing your sons' names.

looneytune · 11/05/2013 23:51

I like Oliver but unfortunately my best friend's son has that name.
