"American" names in London - will they go over well?

As expats in London, I'm wondering how our children's names will go over. I also just found out I'm pregnant with DC 3 and I'd love to hear what names are considered "trendy" (to avoid them) or what names would not go over well, that might be popular in America.

Our baby twins are named Rowan (girl) and Weston (boy).

The other names we like are Beatrice, Winifred & Hadley (for a girl) or Finn, Harrison & Asher (for a boy).

I really like the name Sadie for a girl, and would love to use it. In the US its a common name for a dog so wouldn't go over well!

I like Sadie. I wouldn't think of it as a dog's name. I would think of Sadie Whatshername - Jude Law's ex.

Yeah Amelia and Oliver are very very popular.

I must know about a dozen of each aged 5-11yo.

Elizabeth actually is a classic name in UK, not loads and loads but I do know one or two children called Elizabeth. Beth/Bethan/Bethany is very popular tho.

If you're thinking of Sydney for a boy then spell it 'Sidney'. Lots of Olivers (see Squoosh's link)

Surnames as first names in the US is quite waspish but even there that is giving way to trendy and white breadish (as in Madison, Addison, etc.)

Amelia is in the top 10 so quite popular. Millies are everywhere, along with Ellies and Evies.

Matilda and Stella are great.

Savannah is closing in on Shelby territory but still closer to Madison and Addison.

I like Merren - I have known both male and female versions.

What about Russell? For a boy, although I did have a great aunt called Russell.

It's also fair to say that there is no guarantee there won't be a child with the same name in a class.

As an indication, ds1 has no Olivers in his class. No thomases. No other toms. However a friend's ds has FOUR Toms in his class. And TWO Olivers.

Dd had quite a common (oft used) name, but is the only one in her school of 400 plus pupils. Whereas there are 3 jaydens, at least 2 masons and several scarlets.

I really like Asher or Beatrice from your original list.

From the second list, I like Elena for a girl. Not that keen on any of the boy's names, maybe Maxwell at a push although I prefer Maximillian or just Max.

From the third list:
Savannah - OK
Amelia (Milly) - OK, very popular
Matilda, Stella - love both of these
Sydney / Sidney - OK
Oliver - like it, but very popular
