like honor but not honor

dd1 is honor - finding it hard to think of a name we love as much. prefer to have one which cant be shortened. nothing to flouncy. any ideas?

Hester, Alice, Faith, Beatrice, Mabel. Not too flouncy, but feminine. I love Honor.

I was going to suggest Haven but have realised that sprang to mind because it's Jessica Alba's younger daughters name. The elder daughter is called Honor.

It is a hard one to pair up!

DD1 is Honor and it is my favourite girls name. DD2 was Alexandra as I think you need a strong name to go with Honor.

I personally would steer away from another virtue name as it can be a bit twee.

A friend's daughter is called Verity, and I think its a lovely name :)

To me as well as the nice meaning Honor stands out as not ending in -ie, -a, -ia, -elle or other common femine sounds.
