We like 'sensible' names (i.e. not made up/ chavvy) such as

James (Jamie),
Alexander (Alex),
Oliver (Olly),
Samuel (Sam),
Tobias (Toby),
Jacob (Jake/ Jack)
possibly Lucas (Luke),
William (Billy), etc

as they can all be shortened into nice NN but hubby doesn't like these particular ones or family/friends have them

.. any other ideas please?

We are soo stuck for boys names!

What about: Christopher (Kit), Patrick (Paddy), Simon (not so good for Nn except Si), Alastair (Al) Fergus (Fergie), Nathaniel (Nat), Julian (also not so good for nickname) Rufus (though inevitably becomes Doofus).

Of your current choices, Bradley sounds American to me but that maybe because I am a bit obsessed by Josh from the West Wing.

Heck, I would have gone for any of these, but all rejected by my husband.
