Love Jasper as a first name.

Have to have James as a middle name.. (Every male in my family as its a family surname that's going to die out)

And our surname is J..... A veeeery popularJ first name!

Jasper James J.... Totally silly?

I like it.

giraffesCantGoGuisingAsZebras · 21/10/2012 00:03

Bit of a mouthful. What about another middle name as well? break the Js up a bit if you are set on it

MrsShrek3 · 21/10/2012 00:04

Agree with Giraffes. Add another? (and not a J, obv Wink )

ATourchOfInsanity · 21/10/2012 00:06

Only one letter away from KKK Confused

flossy101 · 21/10/2012 00:07

Jasper Jones is lovely and the James will only be used occasionally if middle name? I like Grin

curiousgeorgie · 21/10/2012 00:07

Hmmm.... That's a good idea.

My brain went straight to 'John' though as its FIL's name! Grin

Ill have to think of one!

or a g! don't pick George!

It sounds a wee bitty like you are reading a register of j names.

giraffesCantGoGuisingAsZebras · 21/10/2012 00:08

Adam jumped in to my head.

eBook · 21/10/2012 00:13

Too many Js.

MrsShrek3 · 21/10/2012 00:14

Keep that to yourself, giraffes. He'll be jumping elsewhere soon Wink

Fwiw I think you need a consonant, possibly second. Third if the first two are set, obv....vowels have too much room for micky taking imho. I knew a jimmy James-Jenkins. He completely failed the playground test GrinGrin

SoggyMoggy · 21/10/2012 00:16

As long as it isn't John Jacob Jingleheimer-Schmidt I think you're probably okay.

giraffesCantGoGuisingAsZebras · 21/10/2012 00:44

if Adam is hot then he is welcome in my bed. I am currently in bed with torey hayden. (I mean in book form before I get done for slander)

I know 2 JJJs (both men in mid-twenties) and they both like it. It's fine!

ScaryBeardyDeadyman · 21/10/2012 10:40

Do you want your child to be a marvel superhero/character? They all have alliterative names...

curiousgeorgie · 21/10/2012 10:41

I wouldn't mind if my child was a superhero Wink

GlaikitFizZombie · 21/10/2012 10:44

I think its fine. Go for it!

ScaryBeardyDeadyman · 21/10/2012 10:46

you might want this then

peachypips · 21/10/2012 19:53

I was JJ before I got married. I also know a
couple called Joy and Jeremy Jackson which I love! Never caused any of us any probs.

CrapBag · 21/10/2012 20:00

I don't see how initials matter tbh.

No one is going to think "oh look at him with 2 j's as initials' and take the piss.

As long as it isn't spelling out 'KNOB' or something then its fine. Grin

LonelyCloud · 21/10/2012 20:00

It reminds me of John Jonah Jameson from Spiderman Grin

justhayley · 21/10/2012 20:54

I think add another name to break it up a bit. It's not ridiculous though as middle names arnt used that much anyway.

MoelFammau · 22/10/2012 16:48

Why are some folk so anti-alliteration? My name alliterates and everyone comments on how funky it is. I'm 34.

Felicitywascold · 22/10/2012 16:52

It's really fine. Only MN hysteria would convince anyone otherwise. Out there ... In the real world. Noone cares/notices/raises an eyebrow.

BackOnceAgainWithLoopyLoops · 22/10/2012 16:55

Milly Molly Mandy. Not sure tbh.
