Girls names that can be shortened to boys names...

I can only think of 2, can you think of anymore?

Charlotte - Charlie
Antonia - Toni

I was a huge tomboy when I was growing up and hated my girly name. I'd like to give my daughter an option to shorten her name if she wants to but I'm not particularly keen on either of the names above. Can you help?

BTW to the perosn who suggested Frances as a unisex name up thread:

Frances is the girls version
Francis is the boys version

SunshineOutdoors · 11/10/2012 14:10

Pedantic but Frances (girl) is Francis if a boy.

Being even more pedantic, I suggested Frances as a girl's name that can be shortened to Frank, a boy's.
I know that Francis is a boy's name.

miaowmix · 11/10/2012 14:15

That wasn't to me though, was it , so please ignore my excessive pedantry Blush

"BTW to the perosn who suggested Frances as a unisex name up thread:

That was me. I know that and should have put both spellings. Also Lesley/Leslie. It is just when the names are said aloud they sound the same.

steppemum · 11/10/2012 14:21

only got my pedant's hat on because it is a family name, 4 generations of them here! (middle names)

Lee can be male or female. Ray I think the same (Ray Eames was female), or can be spelled Rae for a girl.
