Middle names for Eloise

We've just about settled on Eloise for DD1 expected in December. Still no middle name though.

She will be Eloise middlename mysurname DHsurname. My surname is two syllables and DH's is one.

Please can you give me your views on:

Eloise Beatrice
Eloise Marianne
Eloise Cecily
Eloise Cara
Eloise Mia
Eloise May
Eloise Melissa

Some of these eg Melissa and Cecily seem to have too many L and S sounds to work with Eloise - what do you think?

Other suggestions welcome too - especially more unusual names.

You should pick something that has personal meaning - the name of a place, relative, friend etc.

Eloise Marianne - lovely but the rhythm is a bit awkward

I think based on syllables you need a two syllable name so Mia or Maya would be good.

Well...how about. "Eloise Taylor . you see,Eloise is 3 syllables,
and wants a 2-syllable sound next to it... Example:

                 Eloise Taylor Maxwell Smyth.                        Jill.

Thanks everyone! I like lots of the names mentioned above, some are out for family reasons though. I agree two syllables do seem to flow better.

I really like Madeleine (three syllables notwithstanding!) will suggest that to DH, thanks for the idea. However we do know a couple of friends' babies called Madeleine but as their first name, does that matter?

Seems like Cara and Beatrice slightly have the edge from the responses.

Thinking about it we might want to keep it as a first name in case we have DD2. Same applies to Cecily actually. So I guess that's a reason not to use it...? Or will our tastes have changed anyway by the time of DC2?

I really like Cara but my surname also starts with a hard C, so it would be Eloise Cara C- DHName. Does that matter?
