Which do you prefer, Tessa (with nickname Tess) or Lana? I'm interested to know what you think of when you hear either of these names, what impression do they give out (if that makes sense)? Trying to finalise name for dd....

Lana spanish for wool. Does that matter? maybe not. But it's anal backwards.

Tessa then.

Tess!

Sassy and cool

iheartmycat · 25/08/2012 23:33

Tess is great.

Tessa sounds like Tosser.

Lana is Anal backwards. (I used to love the name till someone pointed this out to me :( )

onedev · 25/08/2012 23:33

Lana.

Pochemuchka · 25/08/2012 23:40

Lana for me. I also like Lena.

Had been thinking about this myself for DC3 if they're a girl.

xmasevebundle · 25/08/2012 23:40

Agree with i love my cat, tessa does sound like tosser.

Lana is lovely never heard of it, i dont think it will be even picked up the 'anal' why would kids even no what what means!!?

Pochemuchka · 25/08/2012 23:43

Ignore the anal thing. My first initial and last name spell something rude and no one ever noticed.

seeker · 25/08/2012 23:46

Tess short for Theresa is fantastic. I wouldn't choose a name that spells something funny backwards- kids go through a phase of backwardsing names (I can still say mine!)

Lana, know a little 5 year old and it's great.
