What do you think of Emilia?

Any opinions please ladies ?

I have an Emilia, we don't know any others but as everyone, and statistics say, there are lots of Amelia's about and you do always have to correct the spelling! That said, people always compliment on her pretty name and often how it can be pretty and feisty too. Oh, and we found ourselves using a nn v early on as DD1 couldn't pronounce it, too much of a mouthful when she was 2

It's pretty. I'd be put off by having taught one.

I also have a DD called Emilia, I love her name. She is 4 now and corrects people herself when she gets called Amelia, Emily, etc. We only know one other.

I've an Emilia and don't get too many miss hearing.
We're German origin and it's an old German name and not a new spelling of Amelia (which as the lists state is very popular at the moment)
