Actually I am convinced I'm having a boy, but if it is a girl I think it's between Briony (or Bryony) and Louisa, though I think I've my heart set on Louisa now :-) I don't mind though as they are both lovely and would be happy with either. The meaning of Briony is slightly annoying me though but the OH loves the name and as we have struggled mostly on girls names I think he made a nice suggestion there and it just popped into his head without the aid of a baby book or other inspiration.

Absolutely LOVE Briony, but prefer the spelling Bryony as I think it looks more feminine.

2.Clara
3.Victoria
4.Edlyne

Love Louisa. It was my great-granny's name, and now my mum, me and my DD all have Louise as our middle names as a tribute. I would either go with Louisa Something, or Clara Louise. Clara is lovely too, and Louise works really well as a middle name.

  1. Briony - love it and with that spelling too.
  2. Clara - is a close second, really pretty.
  3. Victoria - a perfectly nice name but not a name I'd choose.
  4. Edlyne - ok if it's pronounced eed-lin but not my fav!

What onetwo3 said Grin.

Louisa is nice too.

Lannie33 · 26/07/2012 02:47

Clara. Ahh, beautiful. But I'm biased since it's on the short-list for my baby girl due in Nov.
Then Briony (also nice).
Victoria-OK but Vic and Vicky would be an issue for me
Can't rate the other one cuz have no clue how it's pronounced :)

shimmy0 · 26/07/2012 08:47

Nah the other one has definitely been stroked off the list now :-)

No its going to be Louisa not Louise and as said before we've already got the middle names sorted out and so we are only picking one of the chosen 4.

That's if Louisa gets picked
