What do we think of Moira??

Hi All,

What are your opinions on Moira? It used to be quite popular here in Ireland years ago but not so much in recent years-pronounced Moy-ra. Thnaks

Hell, NO!

My personal feelings are somewhat clouded by manager who is a Moira.

much prefer Mairi...........or Lorna maybe which has a similar sound without the old lady vibes.

Makes me think of the horrible girl in Malory Towers.

I find it hard to imagine a baby or toddler called Moira, somehow.

What about Moya?

It's middle name after my Irish Granny. I think that says it all really.
