I'm Swedish hence the Scandinavian names (apart from Jarvis) but we currently live in the UK. Am concerned that the names all sound lovely to me as I'm Swedish but I'm aware for example of Saga holidays for the over-50's (saga means 'story' in Swedish).

I would be grateful for your comments, good or bad!

Saga means story in English as well but I still wouldn't a child that. I like greta.

Vincent and Jarvis are gorgeous boys names. Not sure about the girls ones, but if you want to preserve your DC's Swedish heritage then you should go for a name which sounds beautiful in Swedish, no matter what everyone else thinks!

Saga - over-50 holidays
Svea - like
Greta - a bit harsh

Lars - a bit "stereotypically Scandinavian"
Victor - fine
Vincent - fine
Jarvis - OK
August - like
Robin - too unisex
Viggo - sounds a bit strange to UK ears
