We have finally decided on 2 names we both like now just unsure what to go with. We don't like Frederick or Thomas so will be either Freddie or tommy on birth certificate.

Which one goes best with Maisie (our daughter)

Tommy

Freddie :). I think that's because if they get shortened at all I would rather be a Fred than a Tom for some reason!

LexieSinclair · 10/07/2012 11:19

Tommy!

VolAuVent · 10/07/2012 13:36

Not Freddie.

I have a Tommy, not a Tom or Thomas, he is Tommy and it really suits him

MrsHelsBels74 · 10/07/2012 13:56

I've got a Freddie so am biased!

Moominsarescary · 10/07/2012 22:08

I have a tommy
Not keen on Tom but dislike Fred more

paradisechick · 10/07/2012 22:33

Ladyemem · 10/07/2012 22:44

freddie

twinklegreen · 10/07/2012 22:48

I have a Freddie (who is Freddie on his birth certificate) and he would have been Maisie if he'd been a girl, I think they go well together :)

BelleTheBeatnik · 10/07/2012 22:50

Much prefer Freddie. :)

paradisechick · 10/07/2012 22:52

My Freddie is Freddie on his birth certificate too. My other son has a name people here would call a nickname but that's what is on his birth certificate too. I don't see the point in giving a name that isn't going to be used. I don't even really like the full versions!

littleweed10 · 10/07/2012 22:54

Thomas, shortened to tommy or Tom.

CharlieBoo · 10/07/2012 23:00

Freddie

Jackie432 · 13/07/2012 08:04

Freddie!

Both a bit common and twee, how about giving him a proper name (ie Thomas) and he can choose what he shortens it to (if anything) when he grows up? Don't forget you're naming someone who'll be a teenager and an adult some day.
