WDYT of Hamish???

Part of me loves it yet part of me feels like its a but clunky! Weird I know!!

I love it - I know a few nice Hamishes. Plus he will get excited when you read him Lighthouse Keeper stories as it features (OK it's the cat, but who cares?).

Maybe there was a very popular, clever, handsome, athletic and likeable Hamish in their classes when they were young lads and they've associated the name with their jealousy of him? :)

I think of Hamish Macbeth, but I liked Hamish Macbeth so that's OK.

Hamish is a real name, but to gaelic speakers it actually means "come here, Seamus". So maybe if you had a Seamus and a Hamish it would be odd! Btu he is your baby, you should call him whatever you want. I think it is a lovely name.

Whilst I do genuinely like the name Hamish, I think it's an odd combination with Eli.

I'm clearly insane too, as I love it. I really don't understand siblings names needing to go together either. I have lived the majority of my life quite happily without any of my friends or colleagues refering to me alongside the names of my brothers..
