Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Ds1 will be in a class with 4. Ds2 will be i a class with 3. I very much like it, though.

PreciousPuddleduck · 01/07/2012 11:41

I love it. My name choice if we ever have DS.

Roopoo · 01/07/2012 11:42

Wasn't sure if it was very popular. Having a nightmare over boys names.
ThanksSmile

Bloody lovely.

toobreathless · 01/07/2012 11:58

Lovely.

Popular, but rightly so, classic, timeless, suitable for a baby boy or professional man. Wont date in the way that some less popular but more faddy boys names will (think Noah etc)

I personally wouldn't use it as I prefer more unusual names, but go for it!

UnnamedFemaleProtagonist · 01/07/2012 12:06

I have a Noah. Angry

WhosPickleisThatOnion · 01/07/2012 12:08

I have one! There are hardly any around for me, it's quite popular but not everywhere.

VolAuVent · 01/07/2012 13:07

Lovely classic name, very nice. I only know one young Henry (and two Harrys).

PepperOnMyPaprikash · 01/07/2012 14:15

Love it. Would use it for a boy but DH not keen.

I don't know of any Henrys - I am in the South East. But then I don't know any Jacks, Harrys or Olivers - I must live in a bubble where popular names don't reach!

Mine is 8, there aren't any others in his year but several Harrys.
I love it & I've never regretted it. I do know some younger ones as it's got more popular.

NarkedRaspberry · 01/07/2012 14:27

Yes, that faddish Noah. Flash in the pan. Not like it's been around since before the flood Wink

WithACherryOnTop · 01/07/2012 14:28

It's very nice.

pepperrabbit · 01/07/2012 14:28

Noah - Quite topical then looking at the weather forecast for this week!

mayanna123 · 01/07/2012 14:30

Horrid Henry comes to mind. But yes, it is very popular round here.

tiddleypompom · 01/07/2012 14:33

I know a 40 year old and newborn Henry. It suits them both :o

I like it very much.

nkf · 01/07/2012 14:40

A wonderful name.

Blobbybobs · 01/07/2012 14:48

I have a Henry, he is 8. Great name for a lovely child. It has become more popular, but I only know of one other. He is the only one in his school. I would choose it again.

StillSquiffy · 01/07/2012 14:56

Henry's and Harry's abounding all over the place. Becoming way too popular, just like Jack and Josh. I checked against current school list at DC's naice middle class school and there were more than twice as many Henrys/Harrys as any other name.

I was given a first name that was wildly popular for a few years and hated being one of four in the same class - we all ended up being called by our surnames instead . And for a while 2 girls with the same name in class ended up getting called little Sarah' and 'big Sarah'.

I like the name but I'd avoid it TBH.

LineRunner · 01/07/2012 15:09

It is a great name. Harry and Hal as nicknames are good, too.

Badgerina · 01/07/2012 17:14

Blobbybobs You can't have TWO children called Henry! Grin

WhosPickleisThatOnion · 01/07/2012 17:28

I love this thread it's making me happy about my name choice!

nkf · 01/07/2012 17:29

If I wasn't as old as the hills, I'd have another child and use the name Henry, Even it was a girl. Harry a totally cute name.

Roopoo · 01/07/2012 17:33

Think my mind is now made up! Smile

Oops: sorry, didn't mean to offend re: Noah.

In my defence I know three Noah's age 3yrs, 18 months & newborn. I know four Henry's age 80 something (my grandfather), 40 something (uncle), 20 something (ex) & a 2 year old. Henry seems more classic & less 'right now'.

But Noah is a lovely name & goes quite nicely with Henry :)
